Nathan Bogart is a Senior Accountant in E. Cohen’s Outsourcing Service Group. Nathan has over seven years of nonprofit accounting experience. He is responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting services as well as guiding and training staff level accountants.
Prior to joining the E. Cohen, Nathan worked at the Bender Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington for over seven years. As the Bender JCC’s Director of Accounting, he managed both the day-to-day operations of the organization’s accounting department and handled its USD $13 million annual operating budget. While at the Bender JCC, he streamlined company credit card purchasing, AP workflow, and reconciliation processes, cleaned audit reports, and secured $1.75 million of matching grant money from the Maryland State Treasurer to help fund the Bender JCC’s Capital Campaign.
Nathan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland University College. He is currently a CPA candidate and will be studying for the upcoming exams to obtain his CPA certification. He is skilled in Abila MIP Fund Accounting, Microix, Paycom, Benepay, Lyceum, Efinesstri, Traction, Salesforce, and Campminder.
