Don Keninitz has over 35 years experience in accounting, auditing and consulting focused on government contractors and technology companies. He developed and managed the government contract accounting and consulting practice of Friedman & Fuller, P.C. where he was a partner for 10 years, and also spent 10 years as a partner in the government contracting and technology practice at McGladrey, LLP, the nation’s 5th largest CPA firm. He later served as CFO and COO for two privately-held manufacturing companies and CFO of an international transportation services firm. He has written numerous articles and has been a frequent seminar instructor covering a wide range of government contracting, management, and accounting topics. He is also the author of The Government Contractor’s Glossary.
Don received a B.S. in Business Administration from George Mason University in 1979. He passed the Uniform CPA examination in 1981, finishing in the top 100 scorers in the United States and winning an Elijah Watt Sells Award. He also has passed the certified business appraiser examination administered by the Institute of Business Appraisers. Don is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
