Amy Truly is a Supervisor in the Tax Department at E. Cohen. She has more than 20 years of tax and financial planning experience. She provides tax planning, strategies, and guidance for high net worth individuals; prepares federal and multi-state individual, trust, corporate, partnership, nonprofit, estate, personal property, and payroll tax returns; and provides specialized tax research and audit services. She also assists clients with gift tax planning, overseas tax issues, and representation before the IRS and state taxing agencies.
Amy is proficient in Office and Accounting software programs, including Word, Excel, Pro System fx Tax, QuickBooks, and BNA Tax.
Amy has a Bachelor of Science, Magna cum Laude, from the University of Maryland; a Bachelor of Arts from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College), and a C.F.P. from George Washington University.
She is certified as a U.S. Treasury Enrolled Agent and Certified Financial Planner.
