The E. Cohen internship program is designed to introduce future college graduates in the accounting discipline to a profession in the public accounting industry. This opportunity allows participants to experience “real-life” public accounting and allows us the opportunity to evaluate the individual for future full-time employment.
Participants in the E. Cohen internship program will have the opportunity to experience all service lines of the firm. Based on the preference of the intern, it could be in assurance, tax, or both service areas.
The overall objectives for participants in the internship program are to become familiar with E. Cohen and grow professionally in the public accounting profession. The internship experience focuses on providing interns the opportunity to learn and develop in the following areas: Technical Competence, Client Service, Engagement Management, Staff Development, Professional Development and Personal Development.
Participants in the E. Cohen internship program will have the opportunity to experience the “E. Cohen Difference.” This includes, but is not limited to, attend social functions, interacting personally with peers, and generally having fun while at work. By experiencing the “Difference,” the Firm’s goal is to demonstrate to internship participants the characteristics that differentiate us from our competitors.
